Mauricio Pochettino is apparently Manchester United’s top managerial target.
The problem gets him out of Paris Saint-Germain in the middle of the season, but reports in France claim this could be resolved soon.
Le Parisien reports that Zinedine Zidane has already spoken to PSG about Pochettino’s successor.
They claim these discussions were originally related to the Zidane takeover at the end of the season.

However, given United’s interest in Pochettino, that schedule could be brought forward so he’s stepping in now.
They say Zidane would finally be the superstar manager they crave to manage their superstar roster.
He also has three Champions League winners’ medals and this is the competition PSG wants to win the most.
He was charged with Pochettino’s lack of trophies when he left Tottenham and would be re-reported if he joined United.

Pochettino publicly downplayed United ties ahead of PSG’s clash with Manchester City.
And United are reportedly putting up candidates looking for an interim manager they announced when they confirmed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s dismissal.
But behind the scenes, PSG are apparently planning the Argentine’s departure and recognizing that it could be imminent.
Hopefully that means United drove a blow to Pochettino. When Zidane lands in the French capital and Pochettino comes to Old Trafford, there is hardly a party involved that is dissatisfied.
