Man Utd v Villarreal team news

Marcus Rashford and Amad trained outside the squad before this duel but will not be able to play.

Everyone else should be ready to play, although Aaron Wan-Bissaka is suspended after his red card against the Young Boys.

Our prediction: Man Utd v Villarreal

This is a huge game and United need to improve significantly on their recent performances.

Emery’s side will be deeply defensive and very organized, and it’s up to United to break them.

The atmosphere at Old Trafford should be electrifying and Cristiano Ronaldo could well make the difference – again.

This is an opportunity for United to show that they are a better side than they were in May when Villarreal frustrated them in Gdansk, but it is unlikely to be a free-flowing game.

Our prediction: United 1-0 Villarreal
