Manchester United’s preparations for their weekend game against Leicester City are picking up speed.

The Red Devils were strengthened on Wednesday with the return of Paul Pogba and Eric Bailly, who were trained at Carrington.

Even today (Thursday), more players are expected to return to training.

This could include Anthony Martial, Bruno Fernandes, Cristiano Ronaldo and Luke Shaw.

Pogba was in high spirits in front of the camera and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looked very happy to have him back.

Bailly could play a major defensive role for the first time in the Premier League this season with Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof injured.

Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood and Donny van de Beek were among the players who trained at Carrington throughout the break, along with Nemanja Matic, Alex Telles, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Juan Mata.

Pogba is in a particularly good mood after leading France to victory in the UEFA Nations League.

Raphael Varane unfortunately sustained an injury in the final and is now on the sidelines a few weeks ago.

Young winger Amad was also pictured training while recovering from his injury.
