Manchester United’s loss to Watford was another humiliation and one too much for the fans.

Losing 4-1 at the Hornets was a shame as losing United captain Harry Maguire was sent off.

Former United striker Michael Owen says he firmly believes Solskjaer must leave.

Owen wrote that Solskjaer’s dismissal was imminent.

I can’t see how @ManUtd can continue with OGS. As sad as it is to see managers being laid off, I would be surprised if he could make it through the day, let alone the season.

The Times reported last night that United would hold an emergency board meeting on Solskjaer’s future, and The MEN claimed a decision had been made to fire the boss – although it is still official.

After the game, Solskjaer had told the club website that he hoped to get United to recover.

He said, “I’ve always believed in myself, but of course it’s a difficult time for us right now. I can trust everyone out there to give what they have, the staff are fantastic, but of course the results are difficult at the moment. Yes, I think we can change that. “

The problem is that Solskjaer has been saying for weeks that he will change it. And he can’t.

United are in a deep rut and the players have clearly lost faith in themselves and in the coaches.

Whatever is said behind the scenes, it’s not working, and it’s time to get away from Solskjaer and try a new approach.
