Marcus Rashford was in the right place at the right time to score Manchester United’s winner against West Ham.

Rashford has gotten pretty good at it and has now set the record in Premier League history as the player with the most winning goals in injury time.

It was the perfect time to score as United desperately needed the win to move back into the top four.

Biggest STAR your club is trying to sign this month

4 – Marcus Rashford has scored a 90th-minute winner for the fourth time in the Premier League, at least twice as many as any other Man Utd player. In fact, no player in the history of the competition has ever scored more such winners. Mentality.

Impeccable timing

Rashford’s first-ever stoppage-time winner for United returned under Jose Mourinho at Hull City in 2016 to continue a successful start to the season.

He’s still doing it six years later, ending up catching an Edinson Cavani cross to collect all three points against West Ham. And scoring the winner at the Stretford End is always special.

Rashford needed that after being rightly criticized in an 11-goal drought earlier this month.

He has now scored twice in his last two games and the international break comes at an awkward time just as he is regaining form. He’s up to five total goals for the season.

At least he can go into the break like the rest of his team-mates on a high, with Ralf Rangnick stabilizing the rocking Old Trafford ship.

United are back in the top four and while there is still a long way to go it feels a lot better than seventh place where United started the weekend.
