In response to a supporter on Twitter asking him to “announce Sancho,” Rashford replied with a simple “yes.”
We also took a screenshot in case Rashford deletes his tweet.
England’s squad is currently celebrating victory in the European Championship 2020 in the round of 16 against Germany. It is quite possible that Rashford got carried away a little (!). Either that or one of his English teammates has his phone and is doing mischief.
Or maybe at this point he feels like there just doesn’t make sense to keep up the farce and pretext – we all know Sancho is coming to United anyway.
It seems like a deal has been finalized and will be officially announced after Euro 2020. The latest report from the German outlet Sport1 said the deal was about to close.
Rashford may just have ruined the big reveal – not that we’re complaining at all.
Fabrizio Romano followed Rashford’s tweet with a message of his own.
Jadon Sancho Deal is loading … Agent @MarcusRashford knows. #MUFC
Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund will be in direct contact for the next few hours to complete the final details of the agreement / payment structure [around €90m]. 🔴 #Sancho https://t.co/qqxjOzTez1

This deal is being finalized, there is no stopping it. Sancho took matters into his own hands and we are all grateful for that.
