Manchester United’s reported transfer target, Kamaldeen Sulemana, has given some encouragement for a summer move.
The Mail reported over the weekend that United have been exploring Sulemana and are keen on the winger.
Only 19-year-old Sulemana plays for Nordsjälland and has also caught the attention of Ajax and Liverpool.
United’s potential signing has welcomed talk of a possible summer move and says he is open to leaving this summer despite signing a new deal just last year.

Speaking to the Danish outlet Bold, Sulemana said: “I feel ready to move – but we have to see what happens this summer. I can see how I fit into all the big clubs. There is no particular league that I think suits me better, so I’m open to all leagues – especially the top 5. “
Nordsjaelland sold his Ghanaian compatriot Mohammed Kudus to Ajax last summer for a fee of £ 9 million.
While it could be possible that he is tempted to join his compatriot on the Dutch side, Sulemana is keeping his options open. That’s good news for United.
Fits United’s profile
United paid big bucks to sign winger Amad from Atalanta at the end of the final transfer window. The club also attracted Facundo Pellistri to young prospects.
While young winger Anthony Elanga breaks through as well, Sulemana fits in with player United’s profile.
United have been very active over the past two summers, signing young overseas players aged 16-17 for the academy. Brexit restrictions now make this impossible.
United can only sign overseas players over the age of 18 and even then there are restrictions on the number – a maximum of six between the ages of 18 and 21 in a calendar year – and they must also be viewed as special talent in order to win a GBE government certificate. It also helps if they come from a country in the FIFA Top 50 World Ranking. Ghana is in 49th place.
Sulemana could very well be a player United plays a game of and Goal reports that it could cost as little as £ 10m.
With interest growing, The Mail report 12 clubs sent scouts to see his final game, it seems very likely that Sulemana will be relocating this summer. His latest comments add fuel to the fire. The question is simply whether United will be the ones to pay.
