When young players make their professional debut they often look nervous and cannot be blamed for it.

Then there are those who adapt immediately and never look back. Hannibal Mejbri is one of those special talents.

Hannibal made his debut against the Wolves on the last day of the season, replacing Juan Mata with 10 minutes remaining. He didn’t have much time to make an impact in the 2-1 win and yet he impressed.

The young Frenchman completed 100 percent of his passports and showed what a naturally good footballer he is. Those who saw him shine for the U-23s, where he had more assists than any other player this season, would not have been surprised.

Hannibal played a pass forward to Anthony Hanga before dancing around challenges across the field to keep possession.

He knocked out Willy Boly with a cheeky nutmeg and also managed to win a free kick during his brief performance.

Hannibal managed to show in his time on the pitch that he can make it on the first team level. He’s got a knack for finding space and he seemed up to the challenge of playing on the first team level.

He cannot travel to Gdansk for the Europa League final as he is not eligible for the competition. The next thing we’ll see of him is preseason. A strong preseason could mean that Hannibal regularly battles for a first place in the team next season. He has been training with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s group since March.

There were many positive results against the Wolves, with Anthony Elanga’s goal, Amad’s quality and more minutes for Shola Shoretire and a debut for Will Fish. Hannibal’s cameo was particularly noticeable, and it was great to see how he bonded with the other teens on the first team level.

The young Frenchman appears to have a particular talent and United needs to find a way to involve him more regularly in 2021/22.

Hannibal’s performance wowed United fans as he conformed. This was a debut that he will enjoy …

Hannibal was great to look at.

Exciting, confident and spherical, like he’s been playing with the boys for years.

The EPL is not ready for this next season!

Hannibal looks good but for those who have been watching him in the U23 for months, we already knew that! Will be an unreal talent and a real asset to the squad

I can tell you for sure that Hannibal is better than Fred and Scott.
For a 17 year old, it’s amazing to play with so much creativity and technique.

With about 5 touches, Hannibal showed that he had “it”
