After a few days of speculation that he would sign for Manchester City, Manchester United have confirmed that the club has reached an agreement with Juventus on the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo, subject to personal, visa and medical conditions being agreed.

Cristiano, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner, has won over 30 major trophies in his career, including five UEFA Champions League titles, four FIFA Club World Cups, seven league titles in England, Spain and Italy and the European Championship for his Home Portugal.

In his first tenure for Manchester United, he scored 118 goals in 292 games.
