The UK’s premier psychedelic music and arts event has unveiled its incredible full one-day cast.
Manchester Psych Fest (September 4, 2021) has announced a number of other artists, including Malian rebel rockers Tinariwen to co-headline with Stereolab, the acclaimed post-punk outfit Dry Cleaning, eight-piece Afrobeat Kokoroko and the Japanese Psycho -Veterans Kikagaku Moyo.
Elsewhere on the bill, Billy Nomates, Porridge Radio, Jadu Heart, Crack Cloud, Pins, Los Bitchosand and The Mysterines join a mighty bill that already includes Stealing Sheep, Whyte Horses and Bo Ningan.
In addition, the Welsh composer and violinist Angharad Davies plays an indispensable live score of the multi-award-winning experimental film Bait together with the pioneer Gwenno.

It’s our biggest and best to date – we’ve worked really hard to deliver a strong and diverse invoice, and we’re proud of it. It took a long time but it’s an amazing feeling to finally hear live music again. We can’t wait for September, it’s going to be amazing. “
The festival will take place on Saturday September 4th at the renowned Mancunian venues O2 Ritz, Gorilla, Dancehouse, Deaf Institute and YES and again features art installations by a selection of local artists and illustrators, as well as pop-up street food stands. Merch and much more.
