The conversation between Luis Enrique and Manchester United could end before it really started.
Last week the MEN reported that Luis Enrique was admired by the Manchester United hierarchy.
Sky Sports then led by claiming Cristiano Ronaldo was interested in Enrique Ole replacing Gunnar Solskjaer.

Luis Enrique wasted little time closing the reports.
The journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Luis Enrique responded through the Spanish television channel La Sexta.

A huge wad of money can change Luis Enrique’s mind but it’s really hard to see Manchester United chasing him.
The United Club Declaration states that an interim boss will be pursued as a priority.
The club will then try to find permanent employment until the end of the season.
Michael Carrick is due to take responsibility on a temporary basis, and the immediate role of United’s board of directors is to ensure that this is as brief as possible before an interim is set up.
Just don’t bet it will be Luis Enrique.
