Manchester United have signed U18 defender Logan Pye to a professional contract.

Pye was only 16 at the time, and while he turned 17 in October, he’s now signed a professional contract.
The teenager posted on Instagram to celebrate the big moment and welcomed it as a proud day.
What does Pye Manchester United offer?
The 17-year-old is a left-back who represented England as a youth.
When he was just 16 years old, he played for the Manchester United Under-21 team in the EFL Trophy against Rochdale.
Last season his season was interrupted at the beginning of January due to an injury. He had played 10 U18 games and stopped playing in the league as of February, although he returned for an FA Youth Cup game in March.
In their 10 games, Pye provided two assists and United won eight of them.
Pye is now fit again and played for the Manchester United U23 side in a 5-1 week-end friendly win against Stalybridge Celtic.
One of the troubles Pye faces is that United also brought on Alvaro Fernandez from Real Madrid last summer and he made a strong impression and provided five assists for the U23s.
There are enough opportunities to move around right now and Pye could be shuttling back and forth between the U18 and U23 this season.
The young defender is well advanced physically for his age and it is possible that United could play him as a center-back when options and cover are lacking on the left. But last season all of his appearances came as a left-back.
