Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp released an injury update ahead of his visit to Old Trafford this weekend.
Reds boss Klopp has confirmed on the club’s website that Thiago is out due to an injury.
He also said England midfielder Curtis Jones will return to full training today and should be fit for the game.

“The squad is fine. I cannot tell you now who is 100 percent available and who is not, ”said Klopp.
“It is clear that Curtis will train the entire unit with us today, that is the plan. And not Thiago. Those are the two things I know right now. Thiago was not yet in team training. “
Liverpool midfield looks a bit thin and Jones’ return would be a welcome option for Klopp.

He was also asked to compare Mo Salah and Cristiano Ronaldo before the big game, but wasn’t particularly interested.
“Why should we compare? Obviously, both of them are world class players. Ronaldo’s left foot isn’t that bad, but Mo’s left foot is probably better. Cristiano in the air is a little better and the right foot is probably better.
“They’re both pretty quick and they really want to score goals – so maybe that was it. But I’ve really never really thought about it and I’m not interested in it either, sorry. “

Ronaldo was brought back to Old Trafford to make the difference in the big games and Sunday is sure to be a big game.
He has strengthened himself over the last two Champions League nights and United may need him to trump again here.
Salah has been rife so far this season and Luke Shaw needs to be at the top along with his defensive colleagues to keep him calm, which Ole Gunnar Solskjaer clarified at his press conference.
