Manchester Arndale is pleased to announce that luxury streetwear retailer Kick Game will move into 1,662 square feet at the center in December 2021.

The London-based retailer was founded in 2013 by the sneaker-loving brothers Rob and David Franks and has grown into a destination retailer that rated and sold out sneakers and streetwear from brands like Air Jordan, Nike, Yeezy, Off-White, Trapstar leads, fear of God Essentials and Supreme.

Kick Game has benefited from the increasing demand for limited edition sneakers and streetwear and is aiming for sales of 50 million in the world of music and fashion by the end of 2022.

However, Kick Game is keen to strengthen its presence on the UK high street and Manchester Arndale will be the fifth new store to open in the past 12 months, having recently opened at Leeds Trinity Shopping Center and Birmingham’s Bullring & Grand Central is planning to open more stores across the UK over the next two years.

The arrival of Kick Game follows the latest additions to fashion brands Tommy Hilfiger, Canada Goose, Kurt Geiger and sister company Carvela as they reaffirm Manchester Arndale’s status as the city’s premier fashion destination ahead of the busy Christmas season.

Scott Linard, Portfolio Director at M&G Real Estate, said: “We want to ensure that Manchester Arndale maintains its status as the home of leading fashion brands in the area so that it remains an exciting place for all of our customers. The arrival of an ambitious retailer like Kick Game helps strengthen our position as the premier shopping destination in the Northwest, especially after recently leasing to a number of other popular high-end fashion brands.

“We look forward to working with Kick Game on their exciting plans to open in December, and the new store continues to add to our tenant mix ahead of the busy Christmas season. We hope to have more exciting news to share about other new users in the coming weeks as we continue to make Manchester Arndale the home of a wide variety of retailers alongside leisure and lifestyle providers, supported by a wide variety of food and drink options. “

Robert Franks, Co-Founder and COO of Kick Game, said: “Manchester is a very diverse city – with people from all walks of life, with different cultures and backgrounds. What they have in common, however, is a shared love of streetwear and sneaker culture. Kick Game is excited to become a hub for sneaker lovers in Manchester and we can’t wait to get to know you all. “

Manchester Arndale is one of the largest shopping centers in the UK’s city center and welcomes an average of over 42 million visitors a year. It has an impressive range of more than 200 shops and restaurants, including international, national and local brands.

Time Retail Partners and Metis Real Estate are Manchester Arndale’s hired rental agencies.
