Manchester United captain Harry Maguire missed his third straight game in the Premier League last night.

It is highly unlikely that he will face wolves over the weekend.

Maguire has not given up the prospect of Villarreal in the Europa League next Wednesday.

He is dealing with an ankle ligament injury and he sent a message to fans stating that he is doing everything possible to get fit.

How did United fare without Maguire?

This was another game that United didn’t concede and had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Axel Tuanzebe didn’t play particularly well, but it wasn’t entirely reassuring either.

It didn’t help that defense partner Victor Lindelof had a game with some bad moments, including being allowed a one-on-one in the first half with David de Gea saving him.

Without De Gea’s excellent goalkeeper, United might even have lost the game.

It’s pretty obvious that United need Maguire back for the final, but whether he’ll make it is another issue.

Solskjaer said to Sky Sports: “Harry [Maguire] we are working on [but] does not look good. “

United have one more league game against Wolves this season and it will be the last chance for their understudies to prevail, even if he’s unable to start in Gdansk.
