easyJet today celebrated the launch of its new service between Manchester and Newquay.

The first flight left Manchester Airport at 8:00 AM, marking the start of a more convenient route between Manchester and the northwest with the scenic south coast this summer.

The new route is one of several new additions to easyJet’s Manchester network this summer, along with the new flight from Manchester to Kos from June 26th, Manchester to Nice from July 4th and Manchester to Ibiza from July 24th .

Flights from Manchester to Newquay operate up to five times a week during the summer season. With Cornwall’s picturesque coastline boasting over 300 beaches ranging from golden sand to pebbles and dog-friendly to secluded, the new route to Newquay is likely to be popular with those looking to take an inland break this summer.
