easyJet today launched two new domestic flights and additional seats from Manchester to Scotland to meet domestic demand.
The new routes offer more opportunities to reconnect the people of Manchester with friends and family or to book a long-awaited break and explore more of Scotland this summer.
Flights from Manchester to Aberdeen depart July 9th and run four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, with prices starting at £ 22.99.
Flights from Manchester to Edinburgh depart July 9th and run four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays with prices starting at £ 30.99.
In addition, the airline put over 40,000 additional seats on sale on its existing Belfast International to Manchester route starting July 9, which now operates 27 times a week.
Ali Gayward, easyJet UK Country Manager commented:
“We know our customers can’t wait to meet up with friends and family or have more opportunities to explore the UK, so these new routes from Manchester should prove popular and further strengthen our domestic network that will serve customers even more Selection offers.
“We also know that it is important for our customers to get together with loved ones abroad, so we continue to urge the UK government to add more countries to the Green List – which is sure possible – to make this possible.”
“We continue to have some of the most flexible policies available today so customers can book with confidence and change their plans if necessary to make traveling this summer as easy as possible.”
Karen Smart, Managing Director of Manchester Airport, commented:
“We welcome the announcement of these two new routes by easyJet in addition to expanding the airline’s Belfast service.
“This will improve passenger choice, is great for connectivity between Manchester and the rest of the UK and, over time, will also give travelers in Scotland and Northern Ireland better access to onward connections from Manchester to hundreds of international destinations. ”
All customers who book flights with easyJet benefit from industry-leading flexible booking policies under the “Protection Pledge,” which means customers can now book with the peace of mind that if their plans change, their plans will change.
Starting immediately this summer, all easyJet customers can rebook their flights at any time up to two hours before departure without a rebooking fee or request a voucher for even more last-minute flexibility. Unlike other airlines, there are no date or destination restrictions; Customers can switch to all flights currently on offer until the end of September 2022.
