The work and leisure provider Bruntwood Works has launched a new PAYG (Pay as You Go) service that offers day passes for its coworking spaces throughout Manchester city center. The move is in response to customers’ increased appetite for flexible work experiences as many consider returning to the office after the lockdown.
Aimed at helping freelancers, small businesses, remote workers, or even larger businesses looking for more flexibility when returning to work, the initiative provides a high quality, affordable solution that allows them to book day passes to Bruntwood Works. At Blackfriars House, Neo and Bloc, users can choose from a range of coworking passes that give access to shared lounges or a dedicated desk. Prices start at just £ 3 an hour with half day tickets costing £ 7.50 and full day tickets costing £ 12.
At Blackfriars House, PAYG customers can work in the beautifully renovated communal lounge and use the communal kitchen with free refreshments. Alternatively, customers can purchase an artisanal brew and pastry at Bean’s on-site coffee shop. At Neo, PAYG customers can enjoy a coworking lounge with a variety of design-oriented seating areas and a roof terrace with unique bookable meeting pods.
Bruntwood Works’ newest Pioneer Building Bloc will be ready to welcome PAYG customers on Tuesday June 1st. Here, people will find dynamic leisure and hospitality that includes a FORM yoga studio and a local favorite Trove café as part of a workspace that promotes productivity and wellbeing. There’s even a sleeping capsule that you can use to recharge your day with a quick nap.
In all buildings, people can use the Bruntwood Works website to book space in communal lounges, a dedicated desk, meeting rooms, or simply arrive in the building and book at reception. Customers also have full access to the many amenities on offer including WiFi, common areas, refreshments and facilities.

The PAYG service is the latest in a line of new products from Bruntwood Works that respond to the changing needs of businesses as people increasingly prefer a hybrid way of working.
