Manchester United youngster Alejandro Garnacho is enjoying a very busy and productive week on and off the pitch.
Garnacho signed his first professional contract with the club this week after turning 17 earlier this month. The former Atletico Madrid contender described the move as a “dream come true”.
The teenager followed suit by coming off the bench to score in Manchester United’s U23 win over Stalybridge Celtic on Tuesday night. He scored the fourth after rounding the goalkeeper when United won 5-1.

For the time being, Garnacho is back in action with the U18, which is taking part in a mini-tournament.
United started with a 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur U18s, and Garnacho scored both goals.
Garnacho scored seven goals for the U18s last season. With several players promoted to the U23s, Garnacho could play a prominent role this season and make the promotion himself.
Youth tournament in preparation for the season
This tournament match was the first and United got off to a strong start. Chelsea and Wolves are the other two teams taking part.
Two more games will take place on Friday and then on Saturday, with the first and second teams of the mini-league playing a final on Sunday. Third and fourth will host a play-off.
The early win gives United U18s a good chance of finishing in the top two, although the game against Chelsea in particular will be a tough test due to their consistently strong youth record.
Garnacho has had a great week so far with three goals and a professional contract. It would be no surprise to see him adding to his bottom line.
